Ugh, so many overused plot devices and tropes, I don’t know where to look.

This is an enjoyable romance, but mind the surfeit of secondary characters.

I want a book from this author that isn’t a rude poke in the eye. Is that too much to ask?

A tough-nosed businesswoman finds love and retains her dignity in the process? Remarkable.
