The heroine is the only reason this one gets three oogies. The hero is… meh.
This one does nearly everything right, and makes Highland romances feel like a new and wonderful kind of genre for a short while.
Compared to the author’s last few books, this one doesn’t make me feel like rupturing a blood vessel. So… hurray?
If this story is supposed to be special, why does it feel so much like a throwaway?
