Approaching Desdemona is based on crime author Lenny Klienfeld’s story of the same name.

It wastes little time dispensing with the obligatory sexy times out of the way, with Kent and his lover Alissa doing the mmmbop right from the start. At least this time, this scene is more like one would expect from a silly soft core show, with fake moaning and all kinds of dark lighting to distract people from realizing that there is really nothing explicit or interesting happening on screen.

Alas, when he proposes to her afterward, Alissa declines because she feels that she’s not ready yet to settle down.

Well, perhaps a mysterious online precursor to the modern day e-thot, Desdemona, will be more amenable to his desires, as Kent soon starts doing what people imagined a cyber-affair would be like back in 2000.

Alas, as these series are wont to go, soon Desdemona gets mad at Kent and begins committing all kinds of identity theft and more to ruin his life…

Yes, this is a common story that had been done many times before, and no, this episode doesn’t give the story anything interesting or new to worth tuning in.

No, really, I don’t know what else I can say about this one because it’s so generic that I can’t recall much about it once it is over. I suppose there is some amusement to be had from the portrayal of the “fancy internet” that looks so inaccurate and off today, or the hilarious bad CGI at the climactic scene, but that’s pretty much it.

Still, William McNamara is one of those guys that looks hotter as they age, and April Telek shows a lot of skin here, so I suppose that counts for something… whatever that something is.
