The Caleb Trees by Dee Holmes
Toss in real life issues, and then toss in Hallmark sap, and I’m torn between liking it and cringing.

Toss in real life issues, and then toss in Hallmark sap, and I’m torn between liking it and cringing.

Overrated, and not even as sexy as advertized. What a snoozer.

Well, it tries. Didn’t succeed, but I suppose the effort counts for a little.

Send the heroine a spine, please.

Funny, and a little bit emotional too.

For a book by this author, it’s unexpectedly placid. Too placid, perhaps.

This one has an interesting premise, but the whole thing doesn’t really go anywhere.

The heroine is such a pushover, she’d make the perfect housemaid.

The title fits the book – beautifully, absolutely. Read this one – today!

The author does many things right in this one. Not bad for a first-timer.
