Wait, I actually love this dark, risky, twisted story? Oh wait, yes, I do. Very, very muchly!
The whole thing is too small to handle the issues between the two people.
The scenery is evocative, but the main characters are strangely flat in comparison.
How disappointing, this one isn’t the swashbuckler fun like I thought I’d be. Still, it’s okay.
Spy plots can be tough to build believably and capably.
The author is on point with this one. It’s a fine return to form.
Well, it’s a bit better than anything by Cassie Edwards, at least!
