This one has a superbly strong and independent woman in her fifties… and the author squanders the opportunity by being unable to focus on this woman more.

That bloke on the cover is the best thing about this book.
This one is actually pretty good. If only the author hadn’t tried to weaken the heroine in such a contrived manner.
Ride the boredom, more like. Horses… bah.
