How do I know that I am reading a romance story? The hero’s name, without any hint of irony, is Blade Vaughn. And he’s a construction company boss, mind you, not some mysterious ninja or something like that. He may just be what Candice Warner needs in order to help her get over all kinds of phobias and insecurities.

Tasting Candy is a straightforward and simple story of two pretty people hooking up upside down, sideway, back to front, front to back, and all the way around. Don’t be coy – you know what I am trying to say, I’m sure. While this story is straightforward and upfront about its role in the bigger scheme of things, that doesn’t mean that it is a terrible read. Oh no, the sexual tension is red hot, the hero is pretty aggressive and sexy without going over the top despite his cheesy name, and the end result is a fan-me-I’m-hot kind of read.

Sometimes simplicity is a virtue in itself, and in this case, it’s a pretty sexy kind of virtue. If you are in the mood for a quick steamy read, this one may just do the trick.
