Alice Little and the Big Girl’s Blouse by Maggie Gibson
Mob bosses, chick lit doozies, gay BFFs, and other madness.

Mob bosses, chick lit doozies, gay BFFs, and other madness.

This one is just meh with some side helping of ugh.

The author guards her tropes faithfully.

Now here’s a satire that ends up being a parody of what it set out to satirize.

If you are mad about miscommunication and dithering, this baby has your name on it.

Vikings, female lairds, star-crossed conflicts, and one sagging middle.

Heroines remain the author’s Achilles heel.

Zzzzzz at the heroine’s crybaby antics and passive behavior.

The author has corrected the factual errors in this paperback version of her debut effort. Shame that nothing could be done about the atrocious plot.

What possessed these people to spend so much money on promoting this ridiculous book?
