Cthulhu Unbound 3, edited by Brian M Sammons and David Conyers
So much gore, so much violence… and yet, I’m bored throughout it all.
So much gore, so much violence… and yet, I’m bored throughout it all.
Hey, don’t balk – this is a serious anthology.
It promises all kinds of naughty tentacle kink, but doesn’t deliver.
One can catch zombifying boredom from reading this.
All of the master spookster’s better known stories, in one volume. How convenient!
Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn!
The author has the verve, but not the discipline to run a tight ship where his stories are concerned.
Poor Cthulhu – he and his friends are quite lifeless here.
This is almost a great zombie drama, until it falls apart into self-indulgent nonsense later in the story.
You know what they say about zombie sequels.
