Brass is a reference to the bed and the mirror that Grant has inherited from his late father.
Okay, so the late father’s house comes with a sinister underground chamber and other stuff that screams “fire sale for the next jump scare bonanza from Blumhouse Productions”, but as we shall soon see, Grant is an idiot.
Really, as evidence piles that his father might had played too much games with the dark forces and perished as a result, this fellow lumbers around like a mouth-breathing lummox, denying the obvious or making the worst wrong conclusions ever.
The hilariously bad CGI-cursed ending is exactly the fate that this moron deserves, but it’s an unsatisfying one as I have to sit through some of the most over-acting I’d come across from a lead actor on this show. Max Martini either under- or over-emotes in his scenes that the episode could easily be the feverish imagination of Grant as he overdoses or something… which, now that I think of it, would have at least made sense as a twist of sorts, as not much else in the actual episode makes much sense.
One extra oogie because Mr Martini spends a lot of time in his shorts, and his lamentable acting prowess aside, he’s eye candy enough to reduce some of the pain that comes with the experience of watching this episode. He’s not that hot, though, so watch something else if all you want is a hot guy to look at!
