The Love Potion by Sandra Hill
The author’s plot and characterization efforts are paper thin. Just how much do you want to laugh?

Zzzzzzzzz even at Ireland.
The story is campy but it has its moments.
The hero is a complete, total arsehole.
The heroine pushes the meaning of “imbecile” to dizzying new heights, and a hero with no redeeming feature. I’d rather die.
This is the true Antichrist movie.
This book has its charms, but it also tries very hard to be cutesy and girly. Shudder.
This story won’t be necessary if the characters weren’t so bloody stupid.
Is it a romance? A crime drama? It seems to be both and yet neither here nor there.
The hero is an idiot.
