Voyeurs is a… well, it’s something. 

A housekeeper enters Room 104, cleans up the mess, and discovers a lipstick which she then tries on — ugh, does she know what it had previously touched? — and then has about 20 minutes of fever dream where she imagines herself as hotter and younger.

This hotter her dances around the room, poses sometimes provocatively as if OnlyFans existed back in 2017, then starts dancing around with the present-day her like they are on an episode of Dancing with the Stars, and then… it’s a wrap.

I kept waiting for something to happen. A twist, a revelation, maybe even just a punchline to justify the setup but nope, the episode is happy to be an extended music video without the music video budget or the decency to fade out after three minutes.

Aside from being an inadvertent prediction of some dire pop culture elements to come, perhaps, who knows what this thing is about? Maybe I am missing the point and this episode is some commentary on aging, desire, or invisible labor force?

Who knows, as there nothing to work with here aside from the fact that cleaning ladies exist and they do weird things in hotel rooms when no one is watching.

Is writer and director Dayna Hanson having a laugh, perhaps? This is probably the easiest paycheck she has ever gotten in her short career in Hollywood.
