Three Robots: Exit Strategies is a sequel to Three Robots from the first season, and it’s a cringe pile-up that is terrible to behold.

Unlike the previous episode which has some playful humor and some degree of brain power behind it, this one is just about 11 minutes of John Scalzi and screenwriter Philip Gelatt shouting at the audience about how those right-wing poor scums that reject Medicare and insist on not trusting the government or giving up their guns all deserve to die.

That’s not enough, the three robots also become proxies for these two to yell at left-leaning rich libertarians—I love how it seems to be a given here that right-wing people are poor while libertarians are all rich filthy billionaires that absolutely do not prop up the coffers for these people’s precious Democratic Party, of course—for being selfish twats that care only about themselves and do not give away their wealth for the betterment of all.

The whole thing comes off as bitter screes of miserable and unhappy Democrats that, despite having placed their favored president on the throne, is still deranged about the Orange Man and resent the fact that America and the world are not yet the perfect socialist utopia.

I won’t mind if such bullish ranting had been delivered with some semblance of charm and ingenuity, but no, it’s just scolding, hectoring, and lecturing delivered with zero subtlety or even concern for the audience’s entertainment.

It’s 2022. These Democrats already have control of their government for two years, so it’s absurd to still blame Orange Man or filthy billionaire scums if they still didn’t get what they wanted.

Also, the people outside of the US have their own issues, and they have zero effs to give about the whining of some rich, pampered white cry babies playing at being political philosophers.

In other words: oh just cram it. The least they could do is to be entertaining while flailing around in their nagging bore mode, but I suppose that’s too much to ask from these people nowadays.
