Wow, there are some pretty noteworthy voice actors in the cast list of this one. They may not be notable names, but they are in so many video games and cartoons like the unsung MVPs that they are. The people behind this show must have been waving generous amounts of money or are very persuasive, I guess.

In the distant future, humans still breed cows and plant crops, but they also have awesome giant mecha suits for a reason: they are constantly facing the threat of attack from beasts that they call DeeBees. These DeeBees look like the illegitimate but adorable child of the Xenomorphs and some Pokémons and I really want a few of my own.

Actually, the cows and the chickens here are adorable. The aesthetics of this episode are awesome, like a cute cartoon for kids.

Hence, it’s so quaint when this episode sees a particular large invasion of DeeBees on a farming colony, causing cows to be torn apart and more. I’m not being facetious when I say eight-year olds will either love this or be traumatized by it.

Suits is actually a pretty predictable episode (I can tell who is going to make that valiant sacrifice the moment that character shows up), but it’s one fun one. This may be a short show, but it is so well-paced and packed that it feels so much longer, like a bloody fun man-versus-monster flick that Syfy never makes anymore. There isn’t much depth to this one, but damn if it ain’t a blast to watch.

After all, we have farmers in mecha suits detonating explosives and shooting missiles at cute monsters like nobody’s business. What more can I ask for?

So far I am really enjoying Love, Death & Robots. Now, having said that, I can only hope that I haven’t jinxed the whole thing. Still, let’s see what’s the next episode is about…
