The most frightening thing about The Weeping Woman is the opening segment, which has the Old Witch in a ghastly pink dress calling herself the Pantyhose of the Opera.

Wait, maybe it’s the protagonists, friends Mildred and Camille, fulfilling every stereotype about female drivers by driving terribly and being lost while traveling down a curvy road on a mountain slope during a thunderstorm. These two are self proclaimed hunters of demons and ghouls too.

Fortunately, their vehicle breaks down, sparing them of the fatal road accident that they richly deserve. They find themselves stranded, but luckily, they are just near enough to a creepy rundown hotel so hurrah, aren’t they lucky.

Naturally, the hotel is haunted… or so it seems.

I suspect that for most people watching this that are over the age of 10, this episode is going to be a painful thing to behold.

The two young ladies scream at everything every few minutes, and that gets really old fast especially given how shrill they voices are. Meanwhile, Camille acts like she’s borderline hard mental case, giggling and laughing excitedly at the thought of being in danger, while Mildred bitches and complains all the time like the rude bag of vinegar that she is.

Factoring in how inept and stupid they are, it’s very likely that grown-up members of the audience will be rooting for the violent deaths of these two imbeciles.

As for the story, there is something about a ghost and a teddy bear, but basically, that’s just an excuse for these two idiots to scream, shriek, moan, complete, and acting like they left their brains back home and someone accidentally flushed them down the toilet.

All in all, this is a ghastly painful episode that is as fun to watch as it is to get a dental filling via an electric drill.
