Reading this book made me write a fan mail to the author. Damn it, it’s that good!
This one is pretty bad, although it does have some unintentional comedy at the author’s expense. Avoid unless you are really bored.
This is still one of the best romance novels I’ve ever read, even after all these years.

This is definitely a memorable debut effort, but it leans more closely to sadistic self-imposed martyrdom kind of stories than I’d have liked.
