Isn’t Hugh Jackman the man? This is the first time I wanted to be a cigarette so badly. Those eyes, those dimples, and yes, that hairy chest! And he has a thing for older women too, how lovely.

What’s that? Jayne Ann Krentz’s Dawn in Eclipse Bay? Must I? Oh, okay. It’s book two in a trilogy that started with Eclipse Bay (don’t worry, this book stands alone very well). It’s about Gabe Madison and Lillian Harte. Their families are feuding, but Gabe wants Lillian. He signs up at her matchmaking agency to look for a wife, but no candidates seems right because he has his heart set on her (he just doesn’t know it yet).

He doesn’t want arty types. She’s an artist. Someone tries to kill her. Or him. Or both. Or Barney the Purple Dinosaur (go villains!).

I fell asleep somewhere around page 100 and have to force myself to finish this book. Wonder where all the chemistry, funny repartee, and romance have gone.

Anyway, back to more important matters at hand. Isn’t Hugh Jackman lovely?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. What is this book called again?
