Ugh, it’s as if the author went all out to make me loathe her story.
The hero’s story is solid, good. The romance is… well, not so good.
Unfortunately, the bulk of this book is one long and dull court case.
This is a pretty ordinary story that turns unexpectedly magical as it progresses.
A nerd and a cellist. That one may actually work, the way the author presents it.
The fun setting is wasted on the boring main characters.
The moment when one realizes that the old romance reissues are better than the current output of the author…
