Another badly beaten, mauled, et cetera heroine being rescued by the perfect millionaire. Yawn.

Martin Lawrence tries, but this movie has as much energy as a sedated toddler.

The hero is an ass and the heroine is a wimp. Fun.
Even a few more rounds of rewriting can’t change the fact that the heroine is an annoying wretch.
This is a disappointing offering from an author who had proven that she could do so much better.
It’s a well-mannered bore only fans of traditional regency stories can love.
