Well, I suppose it’s okay that he’s a millionaire since this is, after all, a mini-me version of a typical Harlequin Presents story, so let’s not hold his lack of billionaire status against him. Crystal Moran, yet another American hoo-hah that slays the hearts of impossible Greeks everywhere, was once his girlfriend until he accused her of being the biggest whore that ever whored two years ago.

When they meet again in this story, Demetrius treats her like a slut not deserving of his respect, offering to pay her for sex even at the same time he insinuates that he’s paying too much for such services. Crystal can only swoon in delight at being treated this way.
