This Time Forever by Janice Sims
This is a romantic suspense that isn’t very romantic, but it is very readable and even suspenseful.

So, a dumb heroine is stranded at the roadside one day…
The entertaining moments here are purely unintentional. Still… yay, I suppose?
Oh look, another place from the lowest of hells!
The hero must have been skipping his meds throughout the entire thing.
Yes, she got my number – this one is simply just so much fun!
I actually like this despite the heroine being another “Don’t you dare protect me – I am an independent woman!” dumbass.
This one has an appealing hero and great creepy atmosphere, although it can be depressingly formulaic too.
No matter what the plot is, all that matters is debating whether the heroine’s pure enough for love.
The suspense is pretty good, but the bombastic tone and double standards can be a tough buy.
