Never mind the plot, the author does a bang-up job in reminding me why she can be one of the better romance authors around.
It looks like the author channels all her risk-taking into shorter stories, while letting her full-length stories remain on the safe side.
Christmas is coming, so bring on the low-effort anthologies!

This is the closest book I’ve read from the author in a while that almost recaptures her glory days. Almost. That’s good, I suppose.
The author is always competent when it comes to emotional scenes, but yikes, the premise of this story.
