Wedding Survivor by Julia London
Almost there. Almost there.
Almost there. Almost there.
Annoying brats ahead. Run!
This one is uneven and has plenty of faults, but there is enough charm to the whole thing to keep things entertaining.
I like this one, but I dislike it as well. I’m conflicted, but a book that does that to me isn’t necessarily an awful one.
Now, this is how an author can pull of a ditsy heroine and still make everything work.
I love the hero and the heroine, but I’m frustrated by how determined the story is to stay predictable and familiar.
This one doesn’t seem to know what it wants to be, and ends up being a bumpy gimmick.
Some glimmers of brilliance here, but the story is not quite together.
This one has strong strengths and flaws. It’s hard to come up with a conclusive verdict, so… three oogies?
Short cut psychology and careless reliance on feminine guilt make this one a dull read.
