What could have been an emotional read is marred by too-easy resolutions.
This one is cheesy, hokey, and played out… but it still works in some ways.
These stories are actually reissues of stuff probably best left forgotten.
Even with a unique plot and setting, the author can still make the whole thing feel old and familiar. Amazing.
The villain actually keeps things interesting here, as the main characters just keep bleating and moping like wet drips.
