This is a feel good, slushy relationship comedy that works best around Christmas. Outside that time, it can be cloying as hell.

Oh my, it’s just like every period British comedy starring the same old five people all over again!
Ugh, this one is so annoying. The again, it’s Bridget Jones played by Renée Zellweger – annoying is in the DNA.
