There are some good ideas here, but the execution is a bit meh.
The hero is more of a big dud than a dude. Major asswipe material.
The party falters a bit, but it’s still chugging on, Who’s for a second round of drinks?
Fun, buoyant… unconvincing.
Not much fire here, but what’s here is pretty alright.
Oh look, it’s Stephenie Meyer’s sister too late to the game… or so it seems.
The tragedy of this otherwise decent (if tepid) urban fantasy romp is that the heroine survives until the very end.
Funny, but that’s about it.
Moron heroines can ruin any story, no matter how interesting the setting is.
