This is an interesting take on the increasingly tired urban fantasy romance tropes, although there are some bumps along the way.
This one is a predictable short story, but oh, it sure knows how to deliver a good time!
This is not a well-written pirate futuristic romp – the names are awkward and the heroine is a pain in the rear end.
The so-called tough heroine is actually more… traditional than one would expect. Profound disappointment.
And we’re still all about the mate, mate, mate, mate, mate…
The romance could use some spice, but the rest of the story is still fine.
Thanks for ruining dogs for me, authors!
It seems like more details were paid to the setting than the story itself.
That’s the way: if we’re going to use all those vampire tropes, let’s make them funny.
