Blue Moon by Laura Marie Altom
Angels, amnesia, and monster kids all in one puke bucket.
Angels, amnesia, and monster kids all in one puke bucket.
The main characters spend so much time moping and whining that they probably need to share a bucket between them.
This one is more farce than romance, but I’m entertained, and hence, a happy customer.
Nice ideas, not so nice execution. And the hero’s a big baby.
The author has a story that she wants to tell, but a lot seems to have become garbled up during the execution.
Unlike the movie of the same name, this one isn’t some weepy tearjerker. Hmm, maybe time travel is not the author’s strongest suit.
Getting back with an ex, who doesn’t change a bit, because of the sex – yes, that will work, absolutely.
A big castle, a ghost, a political marriage, she hates him, he hates her… we have all the same things here.
Ugh, so many subplots for so much space.
A great idea, horrible execution.
