Lilies on the Lake by Katherine Kingsley
I am convinced that the hero and the heroine are five years old.

I am convinced that the hero and the heroine are five years old.

More like, the sleepy.

And we’ve officially entered soap opera territory.

This is a dreary chick flick with big stars. Julia Roberts pretending to be all sweet and humble is a big minus.

The heroine… oh my god.

I can’t feel my limbs by the time I reach the last page of this dull, dull book.

The bigger names are just advertising their new series here.

After a fun debut, the author settles for a more conventional chick-lit romp, sigh.

Debut author with a cringe-inducing first book. Quite a common story, sadly.

This one is the embodiment of perfunctory pointlessness.
