Bid for a Bride by Ruth Ann Nordin
It looks like helplessness is now a virtue when you’re a romance heroine.
It looks like helplessness is now a virtue when you’re a romance heroine.
This modern day Gothic romance-gone-awry re-imagining of a certain story of Bram Stoker is more flaccid than biting.
I like the author’s technique, I like the heroine, and… oh my god, someone please delouse the hero.
The poster art is the best thing about this dull thing.
Poo-poo-tine! Again. Obi-Wut versus Udder! Again. Light saber duel! Again. So much for creativity.
All for… hmm, I’m not sure who or what all this is for, actually.
I’d have jilted him too.
Solid premise, but terrible, terrible execution.
Rich man saves idiot woman from losing her business. She puts out. Who says romance is dead?
It may indeed be over between her and I, and it’s heartbreaking.
