Every kiddie show needs an episode about the power of friendship, and well, Zero Friends Again is that very special episode in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

Speaking of skeleton crew, I read and hear that the ratings are pretty bad. Outside of the usual circle of paid shills, no one is talking about this show unless you count the creeps that are gushing about how this show…

OMG U GUISYES

I’m sure that’s just a lone creep… oh wait.

OMG YOU GUYSESESES

Is this something one should post when it comes to a show meant for kids?

OMGOMGOMG

I guess Lucasfilm has driven away all the sane normies from Star Wars that it is now a haven for furries?

Anyway, back to the episode, the kids split up just so that Neel can teach Fern the power of respecting beta males while KB teaches Wim how to use his equipment better. Eeuw, not that way, people, I am not one of those people drawing inappropriate images of that elephant boy having inappropriate and illegal physical contact with various cartoon characters so please let’s not lump me into that lot.

Meanwhile, Ja Rule Nutwood is captured by his old crewmates and once again he promises to lead them to the grand treasures of At Attin or something.

Seriously, the only treasure so far is a currency of a government that no longer exists, so I’m not sure what other treasures there are that are worth anything. If the old currencies were made of precious metals that can be melted and sold off, that would make sense, but here, it’s just old money. Maybe it would be bought at super high prices by collectors, I guess?

At any rate, this is another ho-hum episode, predictable and coming off like some generic kid show giving the Star Wars wallpaper treatment. Aside from the power of friendship thing, the plot hasn’t advanced much and even feels like going in circles just to wait it out until the end of the episode.

Still, this show is definitely better than the last few Disney+ Star Wars show. Then again, I still feel that poor Jude Law could have done better than to settle for this role. Hopefully the paycheck is worth it.
