Kidnapped by the Highland Rogue by Terri Brisbin
Despite the generic title and crappy cover, this one is one of the more striking stories to cross my way. Why did I wait so long to read it?

Talk about a high-maintenance heroine: the one in this story is not only a liability and a worthless baggage, she is determined to the very end to play the victim.

There are many dramatic moments here, and the romance is lost in there, somewhere.

A hero needing some big-time redemption for what he did to the heroine, big internal conflicts and brooding melodrama!

Stories as dull as this one should really be forbidden.
