The mystery ain’t bad, but the romance is dead on the water.
There is more mystery than romance here, which is a problem because the author isn’t exactly a master at delivering suspense and mystery.
Like most Christmas cash-in stories, this one is pretty pointless unless you are a die-hard Cynster fan who MUST read anything with them in it.

The whole thing is absolutely pointless, even as a promo.
I’m in awe of how the author can write the same story over and over. The money helps dull the monotony, I’d imagine.
The best book in the series so far, which means it’s just boring and not painful to read. Still, better than nothing, I suppose.
The sole saving grace of this ludicrous romp is all the unintentional comedy packed within the pages.
