Highland Crown by May McGoldrick
This one needs a different female lead to really, really work.
This one needs a different female lead to really, really work.
Is May McGoldrick trying to be the most boring romance author ever?
Why come up with interesting characters and premise only to put everything through the same old blender?
This one could have been great, but it just settles on being right in the middle of the pack.
The heroine is an Irish Robin Hood… who goes about behaving more like an amateur than anything else.
It’s not enough that the story has a creepy kid, it also rubs it in my face that I’ve wasted my time reading it.
