This is a good example of a no-nonsense good old romance story. No BS, no clutter – just all the love.
No, this is not a story about horsey love. It’s a very nice love story, actually.

The characters are too sweet and nice for this meandering romance.
Not bad, although it has some noticeable pacing issues that bog it down.
This is probably the best story ever to feature a hero named Mecan. It is so good that we should all hold hands and say, “Me too!”
This one has all the hallmarks of a typical flawed debut effort. Next time, perhaps.
