Over the Edge by Suzanne Brockmann
And we’ve officially entered soap opera territory.

And we’ve officially entered soap opera territory.

The romance isn’t quite there, and the suspense is rubbish.

The main characters are annoying, but the story is still fascinating despite their presence.

Now the Italian tourism people owe the author a bonus too.

Diana Palmer, romantic suspense diva. Run!

This is an actual sequel of a book I haven’t read. Oops.

Everything is okay here… except for the romance.

This is like the special slow sibling of the author’s previous book, which is just… not good, to put it mildly.

Sometimes compromises can be a downer for the story.

This one is just absurd and I believe the author is just making up the science as she goes along.
