A Taste of Desire by Chloe Blake
This one screams “I finally sold that first-ever book collecting dust in my drawer, and here it is!” Here it is, indeed.

This one manages to be both acceptable and forgettable. Sadly, a typical book in this line, then.

This book is written in such a way that it may as well turn paragraphs into bullet points, complete with assembly illustrations.

The hero is a politician needing a fake girlfriend and yes, the story ends up being exactly how you’d imagine it to be.

There are some well-done romantic moments here, but much of the story is on the meh side.

This isn’t a bad story by any means, but it’s rather chipper for a story with a murder case in the pivotal spotlight.

This one is okay. I just wish I remember more about this story than it being just alright.

I am not sure what the author intended to do with this one, and I wonder whether she knows.

For a romance, the love thing is rather disquieting.

Christmas is still a few months away, but this one serves up a pleasant romantic escape just nice for the holidays.
