Secrets and Seduction by Jane Beckenham
It’s a pretty decent read, although the characters are often clueless by design.

If there is a plot here, I missed it even after I scrutinized it hard.

Things are going swimmingly until the plot device from hell shows up.

Much like the touch of a stinky asshole.

The main characters, especially the heroine, should be winning medals for being so blood perfect.

This one is almost a beautiful kind of catharsis. Almost.

Everything is fine, except for the execution which is a bit off.

Woman on the run from abusive ex, runs to a ranch… we all know the rest, don’t we?

There’s a decent romance in here, but the author is too busy showing the world how accepting her straight characters are.

No, the title is not dirty. This is a small town romance, a rather implausible one.
