Poor salesman Bart Brookman needs to make a sale bad, as his house is about to be foreclosed by the bank and his wife is nagging at him when she’s not calling him a useless waste of flesh.

When he checks into Room 17 of Motel Limbo, he is tired and fed up with life… until by chance he happens upon a sultry woman, Carla, on the adult channel and she can talk directly to him. She knows of his life and even his deepest desire—to have a woman lick whipped cream off his, er, dangling bits—and even directs him to another guest at the motel that will buy the business equipment he is selling.

That lead news him 16 grand, and an elated Bart returns to his wife, only to decide to leave her for good. He returns to his motel room, and proceeds to believe that he and she are now going to be a serious couple. Wait until she asks him to prove his worth in order for them to be together… forever.

First things first, yes, there is T&A. Well, mostly T, as Kim Feeney spends pretty much all her screen time topless. So does Curtis Armstrong, but I doubt people are clamoring to see that.

As for the rest of the episode, it’s cute. It’s pretty obvious that there isn’t going to be a happily ever after for Bart with Carla, but Curtis Armstrong portrays that guy as such an affable, gullible loser that I can’t help but to feel a smidgen of pity for him.

No matter how dumb and gullible Bart is, there is still something likable about him, in a pathetic little simp kind of way, and Mr Armstrong in fact makes this episode entertaining because of how he imbues Bart with this sad but adorable kind of demeanor.

Kim Feeney also plays the mysterious femme fatale with a kind of glee that is infectious. She could have just rest on the fact that she’s topless and do the bare minimum of work, but instead, she has Carla being this wickedly fun villain that poor Bart is no match for.

So yes, the story may not be particularly inventive or amazing, but the main actors go the long haul to make the episode an entertaining one. Nice!
