Red Light is a really stupid episode about a photographer, Rick McCabe, who is reunited with his beloved, the model Natasha that has fled the scene because she can’t bear to be photographed anymore.
She tells Rick that she is losing a piece of her soul each time she is photographed, so our protagonist accepts money to take “exclusive” pics of her behind her back.
Guess what happens.
In the end, he narrates that Natasha is now gone forever, but he has been struck with a worse fate: now he has to live with the sadness in his heart, and that’s so hard, people.
So, the woman’s dead? The man responsible is suffering even more, people, so get the hankies out!
Oh, sod off.
Meanwhile, the acting is terrible, especially from Liliana Komorowska that seems to be phoning in and she only learned how to speak English a week or two ago, and the paranormal aspect of the twist just comes out of nowhere, if nowhere is what we call the screenwriters’ arse these days.
All in all, this episode is a complete waste of time, unless one wants to have their mood ruined for the rest of the day I suppose.
