There’s a good reason if rumors are true that this Spice Girls clone is dropped by RCA. Five girls that sing songs that sound like rejects from the Spice Girls’ first two albums do not a good girl group make. Apart from the decent Sometimes You Hit, Sometimes You Miss, everything else sounds awful.

And rapping to compensate for vocal inadequacy is so not cool. Under the lip gloss and “Girl Thing!” slogans, Girl Thing sounds like five under-trained shop girls screeching their heart out on some amateur talent time contest.

Better luck in waitressing, girls.
