Along for the Ride, I believe, was previously published by Loose Id. This edition has been revised though.

The story is pretty simple. For fashion design student Georgina Montgomery, life modeling for the Austrian artist Calvin Rolf is an exciting job because he makes her feel so… wanted and desired from how he paints her on canvas. He’s also hot and he has this “sexy brooding artist” mystique around him that impressionable young girls are susceptible to. What’s not to love? Photographer Jason Sutherland, Cal’s buddy, soon joins in the fun. What can I say? These people consider themselves artists, after all.

This is a pleasant naughty little ménage à trois romp although there is an underlying romantic core in the story that makes it pretty clear who Georgina will end up in a more conventional relationship with at the end of the day. At the same time, I’m somewhat disappointed by how this story follows the threesome romantic erotica formula faithfully. The love scenes aren’t as inventive as I’d have liked – come on, these people are artists, so how about some creative use of their tools of the trade? – but they are pretty decent if you are looking for a naughty little read.

This one isn’t bad, but at the same time, it doesn’t particularly stand out as memorable either. It will do, but it should have done better, I think.
