In Bilby Island, Australia, is a new five-star resort called Bandicoot Cove. Normally people like us would have to sell at least a kidney to be able to afford a room there, but Trent’s sister is the manager of the resort, so he gets to enjoy a free stay with a penthouse suite big enough for three. He wastes no time bringing his best mate Mason and their girlfriend Paige there for a little ménage à trois fun. They have been together for a year, but so far Paige has never shown any indication that they would take the relationship beyond casual good times in bed. Trent and Mason hope that the three of them would move past that stage to something more permanent after their stay at Bandicoot Cove, but Paige has made her own plans that she hasn’t told the guys yet – she is going back to Canada and she hopes to have one last hurrah with them before she falls even deeper in love with the two of them.

Paradise Found has some emotional drama, but it’s pretty superficial, mostly due to the fact that this is a short story and, as a result, the characters are pretty one-note in the first place. What this story has is a surfeit of sex scenes in the key of three, but they begin to drag after a while because I have no emotional investment in these characters. Besides, it’s not like there’s anything new in the love scenes that grab my attention in any way.

For a story with so many naughty scenes, it resembles forgettable elevator music more than I’d have liked.
