It’s rather embarrassing how bad the protagonist can be at playing the detective.
This one is alright, but like most of the author’s books so far, an uneven read through and through.
Wow, this one can really cut deep to the bone. Awesome.
Yet another tale of a self-loathing heroine with no impulse control. Yawn.
What happened to the author’s ability to plot?
A big cringe at the whiny douchebag hero.
The author mixes things up a bit here, but not enough to keep things from seeming stale.
Both the hero and the heroine need to be smacked with reality a few times to make them tolerable.
Being kidnapped by hot aliens to be their king’s babymaker doesn’t stop our heroine from putting it out.
