Angels with Dirty Faces by Sugababes

They were dropped by their record label after their debut album flopped, infighting caused them to lose a member, and now the Sugababes are back with a new member and a new album. Ditching their R&B sounds for a harder, rockier garage dance sound, the Sugababes sound good.

It’s just too bad that there are too many filler tracks on this CD. Their cover of Freak Like Me is very good, and the title track along with Round Round are good too, but everything else sounds like a somnambulist haze of muted throbbing whirls and tizzy sounds.

This CD’s cool, yeah. But it’s also dull.
